Our Guestbook

For our wedding, Sean & I wanted our guests to WANT to sign our guestbook. After the wedding was over, we also didn't want it to collect dust in a box somewhere. I mean, seriously, typical guestbooks are just a little linen book with pages full of names. Why would I ever want to flip through it again?

I saw some ideas for photo-guestbooks on Pinterest, and thought it was a great idea! I found a deal for large, customizable photobooks through MyPublisher.

I started by downloading their design applicator onto my computer. Once I determined what pictures I wanted to use, I uploaded them into the applicator and began arranging. It took me a few hours to get everything right, but when it came in the mail everything was perfect! I chose the 15" X 11.5" (It was HUGE) Deluxe Hardcover option with 20 pages & a photo finish cover. The total cost was around $70. Note: I purchased mine with a Groupon that was a gift, so I actually paid much less for it.

I picked up some Sharpies, and that was it! We received so many compliments on our guestbook, and everyone said they loved flipping through & seeing pictures they hadn't seen before or of those we hadn't posted online.

Right now, MyPublisher is offering 50% off orders of $100 or more using the promo code JANBIG. This offer is only good through the 20th! If you miss that deal, they're also offering a Buy 1 Get 1 FREE photobook for all new customers.

If you were interested in a photobook for a guestbook option, Shutterfly has some awesome choices as well!

  1. Love it! I've never heard of MyPublisher...I might have to check that out! I made a photo book through Walgreens just for my high school graduation party and also received a lot of compliments on it.
